Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must be at least 21 years of age upon appointment.
Valid Texas 'Class C' driver's license.
Valid City of Dallas driver's permit or ability to obtain.
Two years of 'Class C' driving experience.
Valid State of Texas EMT/B, EMT/I, Paramedic Cert/License.
Valid AHA or ARC BLS Provider CPR card.
All qualified applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment physical agility exam.
Description
Under general supervision, performs work involving the treatment and transportation of the sick and injured. Responds to emergent, non-emergent and private calls. Renders medical care, provides ambulance transportation, and responds to non-emergency medical requests for inter-facility transportation. Participates in station, vehicle, and equipment maintenance activities.
